Privacy on Roadside Table
The public site is built to work without accounts, analytics, advertising trackers, cookies or form submissions.
What the site code collects
Roadside Table’s HTML, CSS and JavaScript do not collect, submit or store personal information. The site does not contain a contact form, newsletter signup, user account, comment system, checkout or reservation tool. It does not embed analytics, advertising pixels, social widgets, maps, video players or remote fonts.
Cookies and browser storage
The site does not set cookies and does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB or similar browser storage. Because no optional cookies are used, there is no consent banner. A future operator should revise this notice and implement real consent controls before adding nonessential tracking or storage.
Meal planner
The group meal planner uses JavaScript in the current browser tab to calculate an estimate from the numbers you enter. Those values are not transmitted by the site, written to browser storage or retained after the page is closed or refreshed.
Hosting and technical logs
Like most websites, the hosting provider or network infrastructure used for a deployed copy may process basic request information such as an IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser identifier or error status for security and delivery. That infrastructure is not specified or controlled by the static files in this release. The site operator is responsible for describing the actual hosting provider’s practices if they differ from this notice.
External links
Links to Red Robin, Wikimedia Commons, Creative Commons, FDA and USDA leave Roadside Table. Those organizations have their own privacy practices and may use cookies or other technologies. Roadside Table does not add affiliate or tracking parameters to those links and does not receive information about what you do after leaving.
Children
The site is general editorial material and does not knowingly request information from children or anyone else. The meal planner accepts only anonymous counts and does not submit them.
Security and data requests
Because the public site code does not receive personal submissions or create user records, it has no visitor database from which to retrieve or delete an account. Hosting-level records, if any, would need to be addressed by the deployed site operator and provider. No public contact detail was provided for this project, so this page does not invent one.
Changes to the implementation
This notice describes the static release as shipped. If forms, analytics, ads, embedded services or user accounts are added later, the operator should update the implementation and this notice together before deployment.
